A Winning Ticket–John and Sarah

There’s hope, America!

Thankfully, there has been a refreshing paradigm shift on the road to Washington with the unexpected entrance of a dark horse VP candidate. Her name is Sarah Palin, the first female and youngest Governor of the 49th State. The Alaskan governor is first string. She makes John McCain look better than he already is. Just as John McCain won hands down the Presidential Civic Forum Q&A held at the Saddleback Community Church in Southern California with Author/Pastor Rich Warren, we now have a presidential team who will win the 2008 presidential race for the White House on November 4th.

Consider this: the very fact that most Democrats don’t think Sarah Palin is a good choice for VP is a very good sign that she is in fact the right choice at the right time. While McCain is completely wrong on a number of key issues (global warming (a pagan environmental extremist hoax), stopping all forms of illegal immigration (McCain-Kennedy Immigration Bill–defeated), McCain-Feinberg Bill (so-called campaign reform), he was absolutely brilliant on this pick. Sarah Palin will have a positive influence on John McCain in the areas where he has not yet seen the light. Pray for light to enter the minds of our elected leaders in Washington, DC.

Define political darkness: liberalism, leftism, socialism, Marxism, communism, environmentalism, global warmingism, one-world globalism, UN, radical Islamo-fascism, terrorism, and evolutionism. Light always dispels darkness.

WARNING: America cannot afford to let B.H. Obama anywhere near the Oval Office. Black Liberation Theology is Marxist Socialism, from which the ultimate outcome is against freedom. Bro Barry has been indoctrinated to believe this dangerous ideology, first at his Chicago church, and then at the schools he attended. Marxist socialism is unbiblical and would take our great nation is the wrong direction–toward bigger government programs and control, financial ruin, social chaos, racism, and a lack of freedom of religion and speech. Obama is advocating the kind of ‘Change’ you don’t want to have anything to do with. Pray that Americans will not be deceived by the socialist code language hidden in his speeches.

On a positive note: When John McCain announced he had chosen Sarah Palin as his running mate on August 29, he scored a 10 out of 10 with both Christians and conservatives. She’s a dream come true for all citizens who have been concerned about the direction of our country. This winning ticket has got my vote!

McCain’s selection of this remarkable woman, who is 44, is ‘outstanding’ for a lot of reasons:
1. Sarah Palin will continue to energize conservative religious leaders. Many pro-life conservatives had worried that John McCain would pick an abortion rights supporter as his running mate, but she has called herself ‘as pro-life as any candidate can be.’
2. Adding Sarah Palin to the GOP ticket is ‘guaranteed to energize values voters.’
3. Sarah Palin is a trailblazer and a reformer, a tireless advocate for reform. She took on the old corrupt politics in Alaska, reformed the state’s energy industry, and rejected wasteful pork barrel spending. She believes in limited government.
4. She is fearless and exactly the type of leader we need bring to Washington to fix our dysfunctional governmental system that is overloaded with special interest groups. It’s time to pray for America in general and to pray specifically for John and Sarah.

Who is Sarah Palin?
She is the current Republican Governor of Alaska. She must be doing something right because she has an approval rating of 80%, as of July, 2008. Palin is the first female vice presidential candidate for the Republican Party. She is an ‘outstanding’ choice because: she is a Christian and has a biblical worldview. She is a member of Wasilla Bible Church in Wasilla, AL, about 45 miles north of Anchorage. Her church website: http://www.wasillabible.org/index
She was born in Idaho. Her parents (mom: school secretary; dad: school teacher) moved the family to Alaska when she was an infant. She is a proud American, a conservative, pro-life, pro-traditional marriage–one man/one woman, against so-called same-sex marriage, she is for drilling for oil in ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge) in northern Alaska, she does not believe that so-called Global Warming is man-made, but soft-ware computer generated, she is a Republican, a mother of five with two sons and three daughters, and a declared ‘hockey mom’.

Her husband is Todd Palin, who is part Eskimo. She hunts, fishes, goes moose hunting, shoots rifles, eats mooseburger, rides snowmobiles, ran a marathon, and owns a float plane. She was the head of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter in her high school and the point guard and captain of the Wasilla High School basketball team where she helped her team win the Alaska small-school basketball championship in 1982. She earned the nickname ‘Sarah Barracuda’ because of her intense playing. She was leader of team prayer before BB games, won the Miss Wasilla beauty contest, finished second in the Miss Alaska pageant, at which she won a college scholarship, and was voted ‘Miss Congeniality’, she plays the flute, is a member of the NRA, she is a strong proponent of the Second Amendment, supports gun-safety education for youth, graduated from University of Idaho with a BS degree in journalism, worked as a TV sports reporter in Anchorage, worked in commercial fishing with her husband, has an 18 year old son in the US Army who will be deployed to Iraq on September 11 of this year, has a new born son with Down syndrome (born in April of this year), she refused to abort the child knowing he would be handicapped. During a 2006 debate, she said she was a proponent of teaching both evolution and creationism in schools.

This ‘wonder woman’ and ‘maverick’ in her own right is an answer to many prayers. She will balance out many of John McCain’s blind spots and weaknesses.

On November 4, 2008, do your civic duty as Citizen Christian and vote for the presidential ticket that is for our founding Judeo-Christian principles. There are four:
1. Life (from womb to tomb; sanctity of life)
2. Liberty (God-given Bill of Rights protections)
3. Pursuit of happiness (government’s role is not to make people happy, but to get out the way and let married couples be fruitful and multiply (children), own property, accumulate wealth, and leave an inheritance and legacy to their children)
4. Consent of the governed (elected leaders who listen to the voice of the American people, because this is a government of, for, and by the people)

God bless America.
