CONSERVATIVE MORAL ISSUES

TWO VITAL ISSUSES OF THE DAY

1. Oppose ENDA
Liberal activists are working to secure special protections for homosexuals and silencing our nation’s pulpits about this unacceptable abnormal lifestyle.
ENDA legislation is designed to force business owners, regardless of their personal religious objections, to allow workers on the job to show up on alternate days dressed as a woman or a man. This is absolutely ridiculous! It most certainly would cause co-workers discomfort as they choose different restrooms on different days.
No one wants any kind of discrimination in the workplace. So there is a simple solution to this perceived problem. A man goes to work dressed like a man, and a woman goes to work dressed like a woman. The simple rule is that everyone keeps their sexual attitudes and activities out of the workplace.

An employer should have the right to fire anyone, homosexual or heterosexual, who chooses their work time to discuss how and with whom they choose to have sex. The
ENDA legislation is dangerous because it would make it illegal for employers to make decisions about hiring, firing, promoting or paying an employee based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Churches and the military would be exempt, at least at first.

This legislation will undermine the rights of people who oppose homosexuality for religious and moral reasons. It would force business owners to leave their practice of faith at the workplace door.

I oppose ENDA and any legislation that seeks to give special protections to one group of people based upon their sexual behavior.

2. Support Abstinence Education

Sexual abstinence is 100% successful. Abstinence always works. Contraception [birth-control pills & condoms] has a high failure rate among the very groups who depend on it. Do not be deceived: Planned Parenthood and other such organizations report misleading statistics claiming that contraception is working. But it is not. The principal targets of so-called comprehensive sex education are the children who are taught to practice putting condoms on bananas. They are the young women who are taught about sex with no sense of right or wrong. Sex cannot be taught with the absence of moral values.

The contraceptive failure rate for women from impoverished backgrounds is high, but this does not bother Planned Parenthood. Why? This is a killing machine that is heavily into the abortion business, which translates into billions of dollars. They are in this business for the money—blood money at that. Planned Parenthood is also in the business of amoral sex indoctrination and promoting the contraception business to further their cause.
Here’s how their evil scheme works. When a birth control device fails its “client” or “victim” in this case, Planned Parenthood then provides them with an abortion, all paid for by taxpayers. Regrettably, our government is subsidizing evil.

These are always benefits for following God’s law. Here are two: (1) the failure rate for abstinence is 0%; (2) the rate of those contracting sexually transmitted diseases [STD] is 0%. Did you know that the federal government spends $12 on sex education and contraception for every one dollar it spends on abstinence-only education? Yet, because of special interest pressure groups like Planned Parenthood, liberals in Congress want to eliminate abstinence spending completely!
On moral grounds, I oppose ENDA and mandatory Sex Education in the school classroom, and I support Abstinence Only Education in Local and Private Schools.
