Conservative Principles Make America Better

THE KEY TO VICTORY IN 2008
The key to victory in 2008 is for those who claim to be conservative to be truly conservative! Conservative beliefs coupled with subsequent actions taken. Seeking the oval office is really not about “gender” or “skin color” or “looks” or “age” or “clothes” or “raising big money” or “emotionalism” or “false guilt” or “clichés” or “sound bytes” or “slick campaign ads” or even “experience” as an elected government official. It is about principles of good government; about truth and honesty; about new ideas; about real solutions, and about leadership that is concerned with making America better.

At the Crossroads in History
Today, America is at a crossroads in history. We are living at the intersection of High Road and Low Lane. There’s a flashing stop sign at the fork in the road, not a yield sign. When coming to the ‘Y’ in the road each voter must stop, look, and listen before choosing which direction to take. A good decision is based on an informed choice. There are only two choices. The road taken will ultimately determine the destination. How important will the ‘08 presidential election be in determining the direction and destination of America? It’s crucial, for it will set the course of history. “We the people” must seriously consider the ‘Y’ factor before choosing who to vote for in the ’08 presidential election. Look at the historical road map. The direction a nation chooses determines its destiny. The outcome of the ‘08 presidential election is critical because it will determine America’s present direction and future destiny.

Two Roads
Will it make a difference which road voters choose to take in the ‘08 presidential election? Think about it, when you step into the voting booth in Novermber of 2008, you are at the ‘Y’ in the road. Consider this question: which direction will you vote for? The road to the right or the road to the left? Conservative or Liberal? Capitalist or Socialist? Lower Taxes or Higher Taxes? Energy Independence or Energy Dependence? Drill For Oil Now and Payless for Gas and Food or Block Drilling for Oil and Pay More for Everything? Limited Government or Big Government? ‘No’ to illegal immigration or ‘Yes’ to Amnesty? Power to the People or Power to the Government? Private Health Care or Government Health Care? Freedom of Religion or Freedom from Religion? One Nation Under God or Divided Nation Over God? Education or Indoctrination? Real Science or Contra-Science? ‘Yes’ to a Culture of Life or ‘Yes’ to a Culture of Death? ‘Yes’ to Man and Woman in Marriage or ‘Yes’ to Same-Sex Marriage or Civil Unions? Judeo-Christian Values or San Francisco Values? Newt Gingrich Style of Leadership or Nancy Pelosi Style of Leadership? Use of Power or Abuse of Power? Rush Limbaugh or Fairness Doctrine? General Pratreaus or Generally Betray US? “In war, there is no substitute for victory” or “In war, there is not substitute for defeat?” Appointment of “Originalist” Judges or Appointment of “Interpretivist” Activist Judges? Legal Immigration or Illegal Immigration? U.S. Sovereignty or United Nations? Real Solutions or Created Problems? Back to the Future with another Reagan or Return to the Past with another Carter or Clinton?
Bottomline: there are only two choices—Republican or Democrat? The road taken will make all the difference.
With apologies to Robert Frost, here’s the liberal version of the first verse of “The Road Not Taken.” It goeth like this: “TWO roads diverged in a yellow dog world, and sorry we could not travel both and be one traveler, long we stood and looked down one as far as we could to where it bent in the underworld.”

Being sorry they could not travel both roads, confirms schizophrenia. Democrats have a “split personality,” a split (separation) between words and action. Their condition indicates the absence of a clear and comprehensive identity. In their case, two or more independent and distinct personality systems develop in the same party—one personality says anything to get elected and the other personality manifests itself after the election, which denotes a sociopathic personality. Democrats are creatures who live not by bread alone, but predominantly by catchwords and phrases.

Democrat Dialectic of Existence
THESIS: Being a Democrat
ANTITHESIS: Nothingness
SYNTHESIS: Becoming a Liberal

True conservative principles work to make America better when implemented. Conservatives offer real solutions to real problems. On the other hand, Liberalism has never worked. It is a worldview that always makes any problem worse.

Ideas Have Consequences
Liberalism is filled with ideas that have costly consequences: Why is the price of gasoline so high and going up in America? Liberalism. Why don’t we drill for oil in American soil? Liberalism. Why is America dependent on getting our energy sources from foreign oil? Liberalism. Why is the cost of food so high in the land of plenty? Liberalism. Why is ethanol being subsidized as a fuel alternative? Liberalism. Why have we not built more oil refining plants in America since last millennium? Liberalism. Why have we not built more nuclear power plants in America since last millennium? Liberalism. Why is Al Gore influencing Congress to vote for environmental restrictions? Liberalism. Why are we allowing the Global Warming cultists in America to slow down the economic growth in America? Liberalism. Why do we have so manny illegal immigrats invading our country? Liberalism. Why can’t we control our own borders? Liberalism. Why do we have activist judges pushing a secular agenda by creating law from the bench? Liberalism. Why do we have such a dumbing down educational system in America? Liberalism. Why is the American dollar loosing value? Liberalism. Why are homes and properties in America loosing value? Liberalism. The list could go on.

Vote For Conservative Principles
Do youself and America a huge favor. Never ever vote for Leftists, liberals, socialists, communists, environmentalists, and secularists no matter what they promise. Vote for a conservative or don’t vote at all because ideas have consequences!
