OIL: DRILL HERE - DRILL NOW - PAY LESS!!!

So what if we’re addicted to oil? We’re also addicted to oxygen. We need both for survival. Oil, the best source of energy, is as close as drilling for it on American soil.

Conservatives must fight against high gas prices and the politicians who have made them higher by voting to block oil companies from drilling for oil in Alaska, North Dakota, and Colorado, etc. And if that’s not studpid enough, now, supporters of the Warner-Lieberman global warming bill are trying to pass a hidden tax scheme. Liberals and Leftists are out-of-touch with the energy needs of the American people.

A dark cloud of stupidity has blanketed Washington, DC that makes liberal Senators forget why they were elected.

Next week, the Senate is set to begin debate on the Warner-Lieberman global warming bill; a “lose-lose” bill. If this bill is passed, the price of energy will go up for all Americans. Gasoline, diesel fuel, heating oil and aviation fuel will be higher than it is now. The supporters of this bill are misguided and out-of-touch with the needs of the American people.

If Lieberman-Warner becomes law, and even if it works perfectly, none of the so-called economic damage claimed to be caused by global warming will be prevented. Environmental groups distort science to deceive the American public and advance their liberal anti-capitalist agenda. No scientific study can show Lieberman-Warner will lower the Earth’s temperature. Lieberman-Warner is a “lose-lose” because it will raise the cost of driving to work, heating your home, and feeding your family.

Contact your Senator and tell him or her to vote “no” on Warner-Lieberman because it would be nothing but more government regulations and hidden taxes. Americans have a good choice to produce more, enjoy more, pay less, and stengthen American.

The Gaia Religion
The religion of Global Warming is rooted in the Gaia philosophy, which is named after a Greek goddess of the Earth. It is a broadly inclusive term for related concepts that living organisms on a planet will affect the nature of their environment – to make it more suitable for life. Earthism is the worship of Mother Nature. Mother Nature is not a person but an expression. The Psalmist said, “The earth is the LORD’s.” Earth is God’s planet, not Animal Kingdom. God spent three out of six days creating earth to be a habitable environment for man. The third rock from the sun is the only planet in the universe where life exists.

Power Hungry Politicans
The alarmist religion of Global Warming has replaced the God of Creation with the god of nature; it is anti-God and elevates the animal kingdom and the environment above human beings who are created in God’s image; this extremist movement is a communistic backdoor approach to hinder and hurt the economic growth of the United States of America. Environmentalists are like drunks—they see things no one else sees. They suffer from delusion. To believe in global warning is to believe in Harvey the invisible white rabbit. Environmentalist religion has made them dangerous drunks, craving restrictive control and abusive power.
Global warming is a hoax. Evolutionary scientists believe that global warming is occurring because of the cosmic forces (solar radiation) striking the earth from outer space.

Earth Worship
Christianity is at war with paganism. The public resurrection of occultism in the West after 1965 has been accompanied by the resurgence of Earth worship, animism, and a self-consciously pagan environmentalist movement. The push for more EPA regulations and the hysteria over Global Warming came to life after the revitalization of occultism in America.

Enemies of Growth
To escape the thought of a final judgment, environmentalists invented a theory of the heat death of the universe—global warming. The universe is supposedly being pushed, by the second law of thermodynamics, toward absolute zero and total randomness.

God commanded man to cultivate the earth, not baby-sit it. The Bible teaches that God’s blessings can continue until the end of time, and one of these blessings is mankind’s population growth and rapidly growing food supplies to keep up with the demand. This fact points to the Second Coming of Christ, not the heat death of the universe in billions of years. Mankind’s limits are covenantal, not temporal. Nature is not autonomous and man is not under nature. Both man and nature are under a Creator God.

The Interfaith Stewardship Alliance (ISA) has reached the following conclusions regarding so-called Global Warming:
(1) Climate changes are well within the bounds of natural variability, in which Earth’s climate has warmed and cooled cyclically throughout its history.
(2) Changes are largely natural in origin.
(3) Changes are unlikely to be catastrophic to humanity or the rest of the biosphere.
(4) Changes are not susceptible to significant reduction by any actions humans take.
(5) Climate changes are far from the most serious threat to humanity and the rest of our environment.

The Most Serious Threat
The most serious threat to America is liberalism and Leftist ideology when implemented. They are a “lose-lose” philosophy of government–dangerous and deadly. These unbiblical philosophies are taking America in the wrong direction–away from our Judeo-Christian roots and our conservative principles.

Which Direction?
Consider this question: which direction is best for America? The road to the right or the road to the left? Conservative or Liberal? Capitalist or Socialist? Lower Taxes or Higher Taxes? Drifting Off Course
Since the 1960s, America has been drifting off course—to the left, degree by degree; incrementally by design. The domestic enemies of America have a secularist agenda that is slowly taking our American society to the left of true North. To correct this leftward drift, Americans need to elect a pilot who knows how to read and use a true North compass; a leader who has a spark of celestial fire in his breast called conscience; an honorable leader who will guide the ship of state back on course and head the U.S. in the right direction. We’ll call it “the ’08 election course correction.” The presidential election of 2008 can be a new beginning for America but only if conservatives unite around conservative ideas and ideals.

Higher Ground
This is the year we must raise the bar—set a high standard and not compromise our conservative values and convictions. Conservatives have an open door to revolutionize America and reverse course in the ’08 election. But a genuine revolution will require real change at all levels of elected offices. There are 511,000+ elected officials in America, from school board to city council to county commission to state legislature. Real solutions have to move through all these offices, not merely the two houses of Congress and the White House.

Voting For a Failed Status Quo
There is no doubt whatsoever that ‘whosoever’ the Democratic Party nominates to be their presidential candidate of choice in 2008, that candidate will represent the failed status quo of liberalism, not too mention the dangerous consequences of leftist ideology, socialism, and Marxist theology. Tragically, the only two choices left for Democrats have been reduced down to either an empty suit (B. Obama), or a pants suit (H. Clinton).

As Martin Luther King, Jr. once stated, “Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.” Remember: stupid is as stupid does. The power of informed choice means that Americans who are informed about the important issues will not be ignorant about political matters and not conscientiously stupid about the dangers of liberalism and leftist ideology! Vote on principle, not party or personality or gender or skin color.

Putting Conservative Principles To Power
If Republicans hope to win the presidency in 2008, they have yet to find a true conservative candidate. Evangelicals and conservative Americans will run to the voting both in November of 2008 to vote for a candidate who is the “real deal” and will put conservative principles to power; someone with the courage of his convictions to stand up and speak out on the vital social and moral issues of today; and someone who is prepared to make bold and systematic changes in the way Washington works. Otherwise, they may just stay at home on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. God forbid!

Worst Train Wreck in American History
It just may take a Washington outsider to come out of nowhere to clean up the ongoing train wreck in Washington. Instead of complaining about how or why Washington doesn’t work, let’s find the source of the problem and fix it. We need to think outside of the boxcar.

The Washingtonian Federal Excess system doesn’t need exploratory surgery, it needs an amputation. For decades now ‘train wreck experts’ have said that the only way to fix the wrecked baggage boxcars is to allocate more federal funds for repair crews to improve what does not work. Putting a band aid on a cancer sore only covers up the problem, it doesn’t cut out the root source.

Beginning in January of 2009, a citizen president must cut the excessive baggage boxcars from the main engine of government and relegate them to the trash heap of American history. The number of boxcars must be limited and the engine must be set on tracks headed true north. Certainly Republicans can produce better conservative leaders than are presently being courted.

Everything Rises and Falls on Leadership
Margaret Thatcher, a champion of free minds and markets, said that consensus it the absence of leadership.
Like Harry Truman’s “The Buck Stops Here,” the phrase “It CAN Be Done” became the working motto of Ronald Reagan’s successful administration. It was engraved on a plate on his desk in the Oval Office. Reagan and his policies unleashed the greatest economic boom in American history – and defeated the Evil Empire. Reagan proved that the phrase “It CAN Be Done” was more than words, but a powerful force. Reagan was always optimistic and happy. He dared to embrace big ideas.
Reagan also had an ethical philosophy of leadership. He said, “Surround yourself with the best people you can find, delegate au-thority, and don’t interfere as long as the policy you’ve decided upon is being carried out.”

According to Dwight D. Eisenhower, the thirty-fourth president of the United States, “Leadership is getting people to follow you.” The key to effective leadership in government is to get everyone in the “Ship of State” to row in the same direction.
John Maxwell pointed out that if people are not following a leader, he’s not leading; he’s just taking a walk. Maxwell says, “All leadership is influence.”

The majority of Evangelicals are moral and social conservatives. They want a president who is an effective leader on moral and social issues and an efficient leader when it comes to fiscal policy; a leader who has simple solutions for complex problems; a leader who has the courage to do what is morally right, even if it may not be popular.

When Evangelicals and conservatives vote for Republicans, they expect them to represent them if elected. They also expect them to fulfill the duties required by the Constitution—protect our great republic, protect our sovereignty, protect our property and hard-earned money, and protect innocent life.

Those who are sent to Washington must govern as conservatives, otherwise the grassroots value voters who gave them their support feel betrayed. Candidates who run as moral and social conservatives cannot govern as establishment “players” consumed with materialism and personal ambition. Conservatives entrusted with an elected office cannot abandon the Reagan platform of the GOP, or become corrupted by the power and money of national politics.

It seems only right and proper that a Republican should be a conservative, not a RINO (Republican In Name Only). A true conservative will hold fast to principles of human equality, to principles of limited government, and push for lower taxes and reduced spending. Non-conservatives do not belong in the GOP. That’s what the Democratic Party is for. But Democrats are not dangerous just because they are Democrats, subscribing to liberal and secular humanist ideologies is what makes them danagerous.

Some of today’s Democrats have become DINOs—Democrat In Name Only. DINOs have abandoned the party of FDR and JFK. They have sold out to the New Left revolutionaries who are taking America and the West down the path to domestic and cultural suicide. Like actors playing a role, the New Leftists take on the persona of a moderate to deceive registered Democrats, and even some gullible Republicans.

No Surrender
While conservatives must become engaged in the “culture war” in America, they must not do so with the same attitude and approach liberals had with the Cold War. Liberals were willing to end it by surrendering much of the world to communist domination. This is the main reason we cannot trust liberals to set American foreign policy. Appeasement is a policy of accepting the imposed conditions of an evil enemy aggressor in lieu of armed resistance, usually at the sacrifice of principles.

Freedom isn’t free. That’s why we fight for it! Patriotic Americans have strong feelings of gratitude toward those who defend our freedoms. General Douglas MacArthur, who oversaw the occupation of Japan from 1945 to 1951 in WWII, said, “No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in its preservation.”

In spite of criticism from liberals, Ronald Reagan saw the problems facing the free world and put the Soviet Union on notice. Thanks to his strong no surrender approach, American liberty triumphed and the communist system of the USSR collapsed.
The speech by President Ronald Reagan to the people of West Berlin contains one of the most memorable lines spoken during his presidency. On June 12, 1987, President Reagan said, “General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” This famous speech is a historical example that words have meaning.

The Berlin Wall, referred to by Reagan, was built by Communists in August 1961 to keep Germans from escaping Communist-dominated East Berlin into Democratic West Berlin. The twelve-foot concrete wall extended for a hundred miles, surrounding West Berlin, and included electrified fences and guard posts. The wall stood as a stark symbol of the decades-old Cold War between the United States and Soviet Union in which the two politically opposed superpowers continually wrestled for dominance, stopping just short of actual warfare.

Two years after Reagan’s no appeasement speech, in November 1989, East Germans issued a decree for the wall to be opened, allowing people to travel freely into West Berlin. In some cases, families that had been separated for decades were finally reunited. The wall was torn down altogether by the end of 1990 upon the collapse of Communism in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, thus symbolizing the end of the Cold War era. The Berlin Wall is a historical example that ideas have consequences.
Ronald Reagan was not a hypocrite. He lived by his own words. He said, “The future doesn’t belong to the faint-hearted. It belongs to the brave.”

A Call for Conservative Leadership
Regrettably, there is still a void of conservative leadership in America today. Most Americans are looking and longing for conservative leaders to emerge on the political front. What our nation needs is a leader who will articulate conservative principles, and who will lead a conservative movement as Ronald Reagan did in the 1980s. When Mr. Smith goes to Washington in January 2009, he must be resilient and have tenacity. He should be confident enough in his belief system to put principles before politics, and committed enough to his ethics to put conservative ideas and values into policy.

America just needs a few good men—a full House of elected representatives in the vein of William Wilberforce, the Englishman who fought for a good and noble cause as a Statesman, not as a milquetoast career politician.

REAL SOLUTIONS
Here now, ladies and gentleman, are real solutions offered to solve the real problems that our great nation is presently facing. First, this author, Phil Pantana, offers the “FIVE F’s” of a conservative political platform, and second, conservative radio talk show host, Sean Hannity, offers his top 10 items for victory in 2008. Will the real true conservative political candidates please stand up!!! We should expect no less!

I. THE PANTANA FIVE LEGS OF A CONSERVATIVE POLITICAL PLATFORM

1. Faith
First Amendment Rights; Congress has made no law respecting an establishment of religion, and has not prohibited the free exercise thereof. Therefore, two issues must be addressed: (1) all educational institutions should provide a level playing field where all ideas may be equally be heard (e.g., Genesis Record of Origins and ID in science class; true American history in history class; post 10 Commandments in schools), and (2) any whisper of the so-called Fairness Doctrine must not be considered to silence free speech on the public air waves or in any form of media, or churches.

Traditional Monogamous Marriage—”Yes” to one man & one woman marriage; Family: Foundation for Society; “No” to Same-Sex Marriage or Civil Unions; “no” gender neutral dorms on college campuses.
3. Finances
Limited Government; Pass the Fair Tax Act!!! Repeal the 16th Amendment and Abolish the IRS; end doles via Welfare; get America out of debt; increase the value of the American dollar; encourage and increase fair and free trade with other nations; pass an emergency energy bill to DRILL HERE (anywhere there is oil on American soil) & DRILL NOW! Result: PAY LESS!
4. Freedom
US Sovereignty; Protect our Borders; Stop Illegal Immigrants; No Amnesty; Defeat Islamo-Fascism & End the growth of Terrorism
5. Future
End Jimmy Carter’s unconstitutional Federal Department of Education. Education is the responsibility of parents, local school boards, counties, and the several states; pass legislation to prohibit Teacher’s Unions from blocking quality education of our young people.

That Government’s do not have the ability to solve all of our problems, and to take away all of our fears and concerns. We need their pledge that we will be the candidate that promotes Individual liberty, Capitalism, a strong national defense and will support policies that encourage such…

A true conservative will hold fast to principles of human equality, to principles of limited government, and push for lower taxes and reduced spending. Non-conservatives do not belong in the GOP. That’s what the Democratic Party is for. But Democrats are not dangerous just because they are Democrats, subscribing to liberal and secular humanist ideologies is what makes them danagerous.

Some of today’s Democrats have become DINOs—Democrat In Name Only. DINOs have abandoned the party of FDR and JFK. They have sold out to the New Left revolutionaries who are taking America and the West down the path to domestic and cultural suicide. Like actors playing a role, the New Leftists take on the persona of a moderate to deceive registered Democrats, and even some gullible Republicans.

No Surrender
While conservatives must become engaged in the “culture war” in America, they must not do so with the same attitude and approach liberals had with the Cold War. Liberals were willing to end it by surrendering much of the world to communist domination. This is the main reason we cannot trust liberals to set American foreign policy. Appeasement is a policy of accepting the imposed conditions of an evil enemy aggressor in lieu of armed resistance, usually at the sacrifice of principles.

Freedom isn’t free. That’s why we fight for it! Patriotic Americans have strong feelings of gratitude toward those who defend our freedoms. General Douglas MacArthur, who oversaw the occupation of Japan from 1945 to 1951 in WWII, said, “No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in its preservation.”

In spite of criticism from liberals, Ronald Reagan saw the problems facing the free world and put the Soviet Union on notice. Thanks to his strong no surrender approach, American liberty triumphed and the communist system of the USSR collapsed.
The speech by President Ronald Reagan to the people of West Berlin contains one of the most memorable lines spoken during his presidency. On June 12, 1987, President Reagan said, “General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization: Come here to this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate! Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” This famous speech is a historical example that words have meaning.

The Berlin Wall, referred to by Reagan, was built by Communists in August 1961 to keep Germans from escaping Communist-dominated East Berlin into Democratic West Berlin. The twelve-foot concrete wall extended for a hundred miles, surrounding West Berlin, and included electrified fences and guard posts. The wall stood as a stark symbol of the decades-old Cold War between the United States and Soviet Union in which the two politically opposed superpowers continually wrestled for dominance, stopping just short of actual warfare.

Two years after Reagan’s no appeasement speech, in November 1989, East Germans issued a decree for the wall to be opened, allowing people to travel freely into West Berlin. In some cases, families that had been separated for decades were finally reunited. The wall was torn down altogether by the end of 1990 upon the collapse of Communism in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union, thus symbolizing the end of the Cold War era. The Berlin Wall is a historical example that ideas have consequences.
Ronald Reagan was not a hypocrite. He lived by his own words. He said, “The future doesn’t belong to the faint-hearted. It belongs to the brave.”

A Call for Conservative Leadership
Regrettably, there is still a void of conservative leadership in America today. Most Americans are looking and longing for conservative leaders to emerge on the political front. What our nation needs is a leader who will articulate conservative principles, and who will lead a conservative movement as Ronald Reagan did in the 1980s. When Mr. Smith goes to Washington in January 2009, he must be resilient and have tenacity. He should be confident enough in his belief system to put principles before politics, and committed enough to his ethics to put conservative ideas and values into policy.
America just needs a few good men—a full House of elected representatives in the vein of William Wilberforce, the Englishman who fought for a good and noble cause as a Statesman, not as a milquetoast career politician.

REAL SOLUTIONS
Here now, ladies and gentleman, are real solutions offered to solve the real problems that our great nation is presently facing. First, this author, Phil Pantana, offers the “FIVE F’s” of a conservative political platform, and second, conservative radio talk show host, Sean Hannity, offers his top 10 items for victory in 2008. Will the real true conservative political candidates please stand up!!! We should expect no less!

I. THE PANTANA FIVE LEGS OF A CONSERVATIVE POLITICAL PLATFORM

1. Faith
First Amendment Rights; Congress has made no law respecting an establishment of religion, and has not prohibited the free exercise thereof. Therefore, two issues must be addressed: (1) all educational institutions should provide a level playing field where all ideas may be equally be heard (e.g., Genesis Record of Origins and ID in science class; true American history in history class; post 10 Commandments in schools), and (2) any whisper of the so-called Fairness Doctrine must not be considered to silence free speech on the public air waves or in any form of media, or churches.

Traditional Monogamous Marriage—”Yes” to one man & one woman marriage; Family: Foundation for Society; “No” to Same-Sex Marriage or Civil Unions; “no” gender neutral dorms on college campuses.
3. Finances
Limited Government; Pass the Fair Tax Act!!! Repeal the 16th Amendment and Abolish the IRS; end doles via Welfare; get America out of debt; increase the value of the American dollar; encourage and increase fair and free trade with other nations; pass an emergency energy bill to DRILL HERE (anywhere there is oil on American soil) & DRILL NOW! Result: PAY LESS!
4. Freedom
US Sovereignty; Protect our Borders; Stop Illegal Immigrants; No Amnesty; Defeat Islamo-Fascism & End the growth of Terrorism
5. Future
End Jimmy Carter’s unconstitutional Federal Department of Education. Education is the responsibility of parents, local school boards, counties, and the several states; pass legislation to prohibit Teacher’s Unions from blocking quality education of our young people.

Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are two conservative radio talk show hosts who have more to offer the American people in terms of real solutions than any Republican in office and, regrettably, the presumptive Republican presidential candidate, Senator John McCain of Arizona.

Thomas Jefferson and the Media
In a letter to J. Norville in 1805, Thomas Jefferson wrote, “Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper.”

First Amendment Rights
The five freedoms guaranteed in the First Amendment are:
1. Free exercise of religion
2. Freedom of speech
3. Freedom of the press
4. Freedom of the right of the people peacefully to assemble
5. Freedom to petition the Government for a redress of griev-ances

Freedom of Speech
Today there is a vital need to clarify the significant difference between “freedom of speech” and “freedom of expression.” The First Amendment says nothing about guaranteeing the freedom of expression. What the Constitution guarantees is freedom of speech. James Madison wrote the First Amendment. When he talked about freedom of speech, he meant political discourse, which is the right of the people to agree and disagree about how to make America better. This should be the objective of government—to make America better for all citizens. Madison did not mean by this phrase “freedom of expression,” which for today’s secular progressive crowd is an understanding that a person can say and do anything and everything under the sun with no fear of consequences. But that does not square with reality. It’s either truth or consequences.

Madison believed that the Bill of Rights were a means to an end. Jefferson said that we could never sacrifice the means to the end. What is that end? Freedom. Jefferson and Lincoln both said it might be necessary to amputate the leg of the man just to save his life. In the case of war it may sometimes be necessary to violate civil liberties in order to save freedom.

If we tear individual liberty out of a social context, as the Free Speech Rights advocates do today, we are left with nothing but the perverse understanding of secular humanism and paganism resulting in a loss or restriction of our God-given rights as a free society.

Debate
Debate is the great-granddaddy of all contest speaking events. Men have been debating with one another since the beginning of time when the serpent first debated with Eve the benefit of eating a certain fruit in the Garden. The best way to reach a true understanding of the church and state debate is to provide a level playing field for all ideas to be equally heard. The only basis for this in history is the Bible on its own terms. “Present your case,” the LORD says. “Bring forth your strong arguments,” the King of Jacob says.

Fairness Doctrine
The so-called Fairness Doctrine is an assault on your right to choose what you watch, read and listen to. It would be anything but fair. Instead, such legislation would provide for more journalistic malpractice. The Fairness Doctrine is nothing more than liberal elected officials of government attempting to silence a few citizens who have access to microphones. The American people should demand that both the educational system and the mainstream media provide a level playing field for all ideas and points of view to be equally heard.

Balancing Armed Services Radio
Congress should schedule more conservative talk radio programs on the Pentagon’s Voice of America190 (VOA), e.g., increasing EIB Network’s Rush Limbaugh Program to 3 hours per day on Armed Services Radio, and should add other conservative syndicated talk radio programs to the lineup on Armed Services Radio to boost the morale of our troops overseas and counterbalance the liberal/leftist-biased media already heard on VOA.

Voice of America (VOA)
Voice of America (VOA) is the official international radio and television broadcasting service of the Pentagon. Its oversight bureau is the International Broadcasting Bureau, which is committed to “public diplomacy” or truthful propaganda. The Voice of America currently has radio broadcasts in 44 languages and television broadcasts in 24 countries. Adding more conservative talk radio programs to the VOA programming lineup is a positive way to support our troops and keep their morale high with news presented from a conservative perspective, and with a positive emphasis on what’s great about America.

Preserving Free Speech Rights
Conservative free speech is under attack from the left. The so-called “Fairness Doctrine” —more fittingly named the “Muzzle Doctrine” or the “Hush Rush Act”—is nothing more than preten-tious legislation that would require primarily talk radio programs to provide “equal time” to opposing views every time Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, Neal Boortz, Glenn Beck and other conservatives, open their mouths to speak the truth about what’s going on in our nation’s capitol.

Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh should receive national recognition for his groundbreaking professional achievements in talk radio since 1988, and the phenomenal success of his EIB network. Rush has transformed media since he burst on the national radio scene in 1988. Liberal broadcast failures resent Rush; Democrats and the liberal drive-by media fear him.

Everyday Americans want the right to choose how and from whom they get their news, but leftists in Congress want to force their liberal points of view down the throats of the American people.

Ronald Reagan Abolished the Fairness Doctrine
Liberals in government, in Stalinist fashion, unrepresentatively used the so-called Fairness Doctrine for more than 35 years to harass and suppress conservative voices in the media. This is partisan political abuse of a basic American right—freedom of speech. In the late 1980s, under President Ronald Reagan, the Federal Communications Commission abolished the Fairness Doctrine.

JFK
President Kennedy’s Assistant Secretary of Commerce revealed their liberal plot: “Our massive strategy was to use the Fairness Doctrine to challenge and harass right-wing broadcasters and hope the challenges would be so costly to them that they would be inhibited and decide it was too expensive to continue.”

Michael Reagan
According to Michael Reagan, “Nothing frightens those who peddle lies than the cold hard light of truth. They react to exposure of their deceits the way vampires react to a having a crucifix held up in front of them. Ever since the birth of conservative talk radio and the Internet ended the liberals’ total monopoly over the news, the left has been simmering with impotence—over the loss of their absolute control over what the Americans are allowed to see and hear, and their inability to do anything about it.”
The only way liberals know how to keep competition away from a successful enterprise, e.g., conservative talk radio programs, is to have government make competition illegal via the Fairness Doctrine. Monopolies are always created by government. A true monopoly cannot possibly exist in a free market.

Media: Public Enemy
Is mainstream media public enemy No. 1? “The media is the enemy!” is the title of the introductory narrative of American Free Press.net. AFP offers: “In the old Soviet Union, the government controlled the media. Not a word of substance could be published without prior approval from the Bolshevik commissars. Today, in the United States, the situation is starkly similar. But most Americans don’t even know it. In the United States today, it is a select handful of superrich families and tightly-knit financial interests-a plutocratic elite-who own the Big Media and who control the government through their ownership of that media. . . . Every single one of the major media outlets is controlled by this powerful interlocking combine.”

Conservatives Defend Free Speech
Conservative Radio Talk Show host Rush Limbaugh had this to say in response to the government looking out for the ‘public interest’ when it comes to free speech rights. Rush said, “The keywords here are ‘they say they’ll act in the public interest.’ Well, who gets to define that? See, that’s the problem. If you let the elected political calss define the public interest, it’s going to change over the course of days, weeks, months, years and the public interest is going to be whateve those people say it it–and then speech isn’t free.”

Speak up for truth and the right. Let your voice be heard. Together, we can win the future by keeping the air waves free and out of the hands of liberals and Leftist who want to silence the truth. The truth will set us free and the truth will keep us free. Freedom is worth fighting for and Rush Limbaugh is worth listening to because he speaks truth to power.

The Prayer of Jabez for America

“We the people” call on Yahweh Elohim, praying:
Oh Lord, that You would bless the United States of America indeed;
And enlarge her territory of Judeo-Christian influence;
And keep Your mighty hand upon America in all that she does;

This prayer is adapted from the OT passage in 1 Chronicles 4:9-10. Prayer changes things, but only when people pray. You can do no more than pray until you have at least prayed.

Blessings For National Obedience
If we, the citizens of the United States of America, fully obey the LORD our God by keeping all the commands God has given us in His Word, the LORD our God will exalt our nation above all the nations of the world. We the people will experience all these blessings if we obey the LORD our God:

We will be blessed in our towns and in the country. We will be blessed with many children and productive fields. We will be blessed with fertile herds and flocks. We will be blessed with baskets overflowing with fruit, and with kneading bowls filled with bread. We will be blessed wher-ever we go, both in coming and in going.

The LORD will conquer our enemies when they attack us. They will attack us from one direction, but they will scatter from us in seven! The LORD will bless everything we do and will fill our storehouses with grain. The LORD our God will bless us in the land He has given us. If we obey the commands of the LORD our God and walk in His ways, the LORD will establish us as His holy people as He solemnly promised to do. Then all the nations of the world will see that we are a people claimed by the LORD, and they will stand in awe of us. The LORD will give us an abundance of good things in the land He swore to give to our founding fathers—many children, numerous livestock, and abundant crops. The LORD will send rain at the proper time from His rich treasury in the heavens to bless all the work we do. We will lend to many nations, but we will never need to borrow from them. If “we the people” of the United States of America listen to these commands of the LORD our God and carefully obey them, the LORD will make us the head and not the tail, and we will always have the upper hand. We must not turn away from any of the commands God has given us in His Word to follow after other gods and worship them.

Formula for Land Healing

The American’s Creed

I believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign Nation of many sovereign States; a per-fect union, one and inseparable; established upon those princi-ples of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.

I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws; to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies.

William Tyler Page, from the State of Maryland, won a nationwide contest in 1917 for “the best summary of American political faith.” The U.S. House of Representatives accepted the statement as the American’s Creed on April 3, 1918. It deserves to be read and recited in public.

To Kill an American?

You probably missed this in the rush of news, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper, an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.

So an Australian dentist wrote an editorial the following day to let everyone know what an American is . So they would know when they found one. (Good one, mate!!!!)

Who Is An American?

“An American is English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghan.

An American may also be a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as native Americans.

An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan.The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them chooses.

An American is also free to believe in no religion . For that he will answer only to God, not to the government, or to armed thugs claiming to speak for the government and for God.

An American lives in the most prosperous land in the history of the world.

The root of that prosperity can be found in the Declaration of Independence , which recognizes the God given right of each person to the pursuit of happiness.

An American is generous. Americans have helped out just about every other nation in the world in their time of need, never asking a thing in return.

When Afghanistan was over-run by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came with arms and supplies to enable the people to win back their country!

As of the morning of September 11, Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan. Americans welcome the best of everything…the best products, the best books, the best music, the best food, the best services. But they also welcome the least.

The national symbol of America , The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America.

Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better life for their families. It’s been told that the World Trade Center victims were from at least 30 different countries, cultures, and first languages, including those that aided and abetted the terrorists.

So you can try to kill an American if you must. Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung, and other blood-thirsty tyrants in the world. But, in doing so you would just be killing yourself . Because Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit, everywhere, is an American.

Philsosphy of Life
It has been said, “the philosophy of the classroom in this generation will be the philosophy of life in the next generation.” The educational system in America is being used to influence young minds to reject the Christian worldview and accept secular human-ism dogma. Our earliest founding fathers understood this. That’s why, after building homes and churches, they established educa-tional institutions with a biblical worldview: Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Dartmouth.

Expelled: No Academic Choice Allowed
Recently the State of California has declared open war on home-school families. California passed a law providing that home-schooling is illegal unless the teacher in the home is certified to teach at the grade level being taught. Now the State of Tennessee has joined the war. The State Board of Education has “invalidated diplomas” from religious based schools that are home-school affiliated.

The Tennessee Board of Education ruled that when a job requires a diploma, home school affiliated diplomas will be unacceptable. Yet, in spite of this, home school students in Tennessee routinely perform better than public school students on standardized tests and in college. The Board claims it does not know what home school students are being taught, but with increased frequency studies show public school students are not learning what they are taught.

Engaged in a War of Worldviews
We are engaged in a war of worldviews: state boards of education are trying to shut down alternatives to government schools. Home Schools and Christian Schools are rooted in a biblical worldview. Home schoolers and Christian School students are being taught the Genesis Record of Origins and a respect for people and property; they are developing a culture of life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness or destiny. Today’s Public or Government Schools are rooted in a secular worldview. Young people in government schools are being indoctrinated with Darwinian Evolutionism in science, with revisionism in history, and socialism and Marxism in economics. These doctrines do not respect people or property. Young people in government schools are developing a culture of death, big government regulations, and lose of our freedoms in our personal lives. This is unacceptable!

Academic Freedom
All 50 states should enact an education policy that allows parents freedom of choice to send their children to private or religious schools, and/or home-school their children with or without a college degree or teacher certification.

Are you smarter than a homeschooler? Probably not!

Home Schoolers Score Higher
According to a report by the Home School Legal Defense Association, for a decade now, the composite score on the ACT college entrance exam for home-schooled students has been higher than the national average. The 2006 statistics show the trend continuing. Homeschoolers receive a classic education in which they learn the three standard R’s—reading, writing, and arithmetic, as well as respect, responsibility, and how to do research.

Repeal the Department of Education Organization Act of 1979 (Public Law 96-88)
The Federal Department of Education (ED) in Washington doesn’t work because of one important principle: the Federal government has no business being in the business of education. It’s counterproductive to good education. Our present education system is a bad system. The government has failed miserably in educating our young people, because that’s not government’s job.

Good Education: Our First Line Of Defense
An educated citizenry is America’s first line of defense. But our young people today are being cheated out of a good education. Putting more money into the present educational system is not the solution to raising the low academic scores and bad behavioral problems in government schools. A secular agenda has produced moral relativism, resulting in a consistent and intentional academic “dumbing down” of students, far-left programs that are anti-Christian, anti-American, and anti-free enterprise, and that promote an absence of student discipline.

Failing Public Schools
Parents and local school boards are responsible to develop a learning system that works, replacing the old broken system with what the founding fathers originally intended. Public schools graduate a disappointing percentage of their entering freshman on time. Noah Webster (1758-1843)
Noah Webster was a remarkable man. He was among the first to call for the Constitutional Convention and was responsible for the copyright and patent protection clause found in Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution. Moreover, Webster was a master of word usage, learning over twenty languages and compiling America’s first dictionary that defined some 70,000 words.

In 1828, at the age of 70, Noah Webster published his Ameri-can Dictionary of the English Language in two quarto (having four leaves to the sheet) volumes containing 70,000 entries. Webster expressed the convictions of the earliest foundations when he maintained that “Education without the Bible is useless.”

Webster understood the connection between physical liberty and liberty of thought. He further understood that the meanings of words played a key role in a person’s ability to develop a sound system of knowledge and principles based on unchanging absolutes. He also recognized the necessity of preserving the connection to our heritage of Liberty, as well as the failures of former systems of government and philosophy before the founding of our Constitutional Republic.

Words Have Meaning
Today, most parents have adopted the false premise that facts are neutral. They believe it doesn’t matter how words are defined or who teaches math, science, and history, because facts are facts. The humanists took advantage of this type of thinking by gradually shaping and controlling education in terms of materialist assumptions.

THE KEY TO VICTORY IN 2008
The key to victory in 2008 is for those who claim to be conservative to be truly conservative! Conservative beliefs coupled with subsequent actions taken. Seeking the oval office is really not about “gender” or “skin color” or “looks” or “age” or “clothes” or “raising big money” or “emotionalism” or “false guilt” or “clichés” or “sound bytes” or “slick campaign ads” or even “experience” as an elected government official. It is about principles of good government; about truth and honesty; about new ideas; about real solutions, and about leadership that is concerned with making America better.

At the Crossroads in History
Today, America is at a crossroads in history. We are living at the intersection of High Road and Low Lane. There’s a flashing stop sign at the fork in the road, not a yield sign. When coming to the ‘Y’ in the road each voter must stop, look, and listen before choosing which direction to take. A good decision is based on an informed choice. There are only two choices. The road taken will ultimately determine the destination. How important will the ‘08 presidential election be in determining the direction and destination of America? It’s crucial, for it will set the course of history. “We the people” must seriously consider the ‘Y’ factor before choosing who to vote for in the ’08 presidential election. Look at the historical road map. The direction a nation chooses determines its destiny. The outcome of the ‘08 presidential election is critical because it will determine America’s present direction and future destiny.

Two Roads
Will it make a difference which road voters choose to take in the ‘08 presidential election? Think about it, when you step into the voting booth in Novermber of 2008, you are at the ‘Y’ in the road. With apologies to Robert Frost, here’s the liberal version of the first verse of “The Road Not Taken.” It goeth like this: “TWO roads diverged in a yellow dog world, and sorry we could not travel both and be one traveler, long we stood and looked down one as far as we could to where it bent in the underworld.”

Being sorry they could not travel both roads, confirms schizophrenia. Democrats have a “split personality,” a split (separation) between words and action. Their condition indicates the absence of a clear and comprehensive identity. In their case, two or more independent and distinct personality systems develop in the same party—one personality says anything to get elected and the other personality manifests itself after the election, which denotes a sociopathic personality. Regulations attempting to control global warming and limit so-called greenhouse gases is a liberal ideology that adds hidden costs to every American citizen. High energy prices aren’t theoretical, they have costly consequences for all Americans. The price of energy will continue to go up unless and until Congress passes common sense legislation in favor of drilling for oil on American soil. We know where the oil is right now. We know this, but the Leftest in Congress are “Naysayers” when it comes to energy independence. And as a result, Americans will continue to pay a higher price for fuel. The enemies of energy independence are blocking our drilling for oil by “no” vote. Environmental extremists falsely claim that anything that comes out of the soil, be it oil or coal, will hurt the environment. Not so! Fossil fuels are there for the harvesting. All we have to do is drill or dig for them. There is no shortage of energy in the world, only a shortage of common sense and sound environmental and economic policies in our government.

Leftists Vote Against Energy Independence
Who’s to blame for America’s high gas prices? Not your SUV. Not the oil companies. Not the Saudis. Not OPEC. The answer, unfortunately, is as close as the Leftists in our own Congress. This is outrageous! Liberals are the domestic enemies of America! It’s tragic, but Liberalism has a long history of death and destruction. Read the non-revisionist history books. Liberalism in America began in 1913 with Democratic President Woodrow Wilson. And every Democratic President since Wilson has betrayed our country.

Newt Gingrich has pointed out that, according to the Investors Business Daily, there are an estimated 1 trillion barrels of oil trapped in shale in the U.S. and Canada. Retrieving just a tenth of it would quadruple our current oil reserves. Yet liberals on the Senate Appropriations committee recently voted to block environmentally sound development of oil shale in Colorado. We need to throw these traitors out of office.

Just last week, liberals in Congress voted for the equivalent of a $150 billion tax increase. They voted to make your next trip to the gas station more expensive; to make your next airplane ticket more expensive; to make heating your home more expensive; and even to make feeding your family more expensive by rising food prices.

How did they do it? By voting to block environmentally sound production of U.S. energy in favor of continuing to be held hostage to oil from foreign dictatorships. The Left just doesn’t seem to get it. There seems to be a cloud of stupidity over their heads.

As Americans, we all need to ask ourselves the following: why do we allow liberals and leftists to destroy our great country? Congress can and should vote “yes” to allow us to drill for oil on American soil. This one vote will lower our energy and food prices. The greater obstacle to energy independence and our national security is energy dependence.

The Left’s Answer: Pain, Not Production
The higher energy prices Americans are paying are the equivalent of a huge tax increase. One economist calculated that the price of oil rising from $80 a barrel to $100 a barrel had the same effect on Americans’ pocket books as a $150 billion tax increase — and the price of oil has risen an additional $27 a barrel since then!

The liberals in Congress, when faced with an opportunity to lessen the economic burden on Americans, outright rejected the real solution to energy independence without a second thought. Even Senator Barack Obama believes in the kind of change Jimmy Carter could believe in: less is better. In February of 1977, then President Carter called the energy shortage “permanent” and asked Americans to turn their thermostat down to “65 degrees in the daytime and 55 degrees at night. Thankfully, the energy shortage was not permanent. It was an artificial creation of liberal stupidity in government policies.

Ronald Reagan’s first official act as a true conservative President was to deregulate the oil industry. Guess what? Oil prices soon dropped. But liberals are telling the next generation of Americans that they can’t have the same lifestyle that their parents enjoy. This is defeatist and backwards. Liberalism is a rejection of the energy, optimism and innovation that made this nation great. In order for our great country to remain good, strong, prosporous, and free, all Americans must reject liberalism!

Conservatives have a solutions-oriented agenda that offers real solutions to real problems, while Liberals have a regulation-oriented agenda that not only blocks real solutions to real problems, but actually causes more problems on top of the already existing problems.

Americans Must Control Our Own Energy Destiny
Our energy challenge is real, not because of the shortage oil in our soil, but because of the controlling regulations imposed on our economic growth through unnecessary evironmental regulations and policies passed by the defeatist Leftist and Liberals in our Congress. They have created our present energy crisis. This should not be, because America has the technological know-how and the entrepreneurial spirit to overcome our energy problems. Americans overwhelmingly support more domestic production of energy to help ease gas prices.

“We the people” must control our energy future, not the Saudis or the oil companies. What we need to do is remove the road blockers in Congress and elect good conservative leaders with the political will to vote “yes” for oil drilling and energy independence.

Accumulated Capital
We must denounce the proponents of selective history and reject historical revisionism. Revisionism is the common method em-ployed by secularists seeking to subvert American culture and society. Instead, we must require that our young people are accu-rately taught the history of the West, and how America became the most peaceful and prosperous nation in the history of nations. Commentator Roger Kimball observed that, “We have been living off the accumulated capital of Western civilization for so long that we’ve forgotten the heroic effort it took to accumulate that capital in the first place.” Citizens should tremble at what a post-Christian America would mean to all people of faith. Evangelicals and conservative must not stand idly by and allow secularists to set their own agenda and shape our culture in their own image. We do not want to become a secular anti-religious society. We must not allow them to impose this on our nation.

In the early days of America, pastors and community leaders would meet together to discuss the various candidates and their leadership qualifications before an election. They believed that since government is ordained of God, and those elected to office are ministers of God, then they should have a say in who represents them in government. If we expect to elect good people to office, this standard should apply in the upcoming 2008 election.

Reshaping Society
Today, Evangelicals and conservatives are seeking to reshape American society by implementing Christian principles and influ-encing society to adhere to biblical traditions and values in areas where secularists have made inroads and forced change by legislative activism.

Evangelicals are not interested in nationalism but evangelism. At the same time, Evangelicals are concerned about maintaining religious freedom in order to promote traditional values. Combining conservative principles with social and political action is not extreme American nationalism, as some claim. Christianity is a relational religion that is made up of the faith and followers of Je-sus Christ.

Historically, America is a representative democracy, it is not analogous to Islamism in any way, shape, or form. Islamists seek to reform society along harsh Islamic lines and force society to conform to radical Islamic legalism; religious freedom vanishes. Christianity grows through reasonable persuasion leading to freedom and civility; Islam expands through intimidation and coercion leading to cruelty and oppression.

The Political Agenda of the Conservative Right
The common factor behind America’s right wing is to restore America’s biblical foundation. Secularists have assaulted the foundational teaching of creation with the teaching of Darwinian evolutionism in government schools. Today’s public schools are government schools. The federal curriculum is used as an indoctrination tool to fill the minds of our most precious commodity with evolution, humanism and secularism.

Secularists have assaulted the right to life with easy access to abortion. Secularists have assaulted traditional marriage and family with so-called civil equality for gays, which actually has nothing at all to do with civil rights. Secularists have assaulted our respect for the traditional role of women with feminism. Secularists have assaulted the minds and lives of young people by pushing for drug legalization. Secularists have assaulted marriage and family with no-fault divorce laws and settlements.
A major appeal of evolution is power. Atheists need evolution to be true.

In her book, Godless: The Church of Liberalism, Ann Coulter states: “Of course liberalism is a religion. It has its own cosmology, its own miracles, its own beliefs in the supernatural, its own churches, its own high priests, its own saints, its own total worldview, and its own existence of the universe. In other words, liberalism contains all the attributes of what is generally known as “religion.”’ Modern man has chosen evolution as his god, or source of law. Darwinism is said to govern both nature and histori-cal process. Evolution is regarded as impersonal except when elite men learn the secrets of evolution and then direct both nature and history.

Politically, conservatives consider their work an opposition to immorality, not modernity. America’s right wing, along with the Christian Right, is seeking to restore a biblical ideology of traditional cultural standards and civility in society. The so-called mod-ern developments, which began during the Enlightenment, undermine the basic right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness in so-ciety.

Becoming a “Mover and Shaker” for Change
Becoming a “mover and shaker” in the arena of moral and social change should be the goal of every Christian leader. Evangelicals should be concerned about moving every area of life in the right direction—toward order. Change will require new leadership to emerge; serious leaders who intentionally introduce a new direction in the public square; leaders who do what is right according to God’s laws and principles and serve through love and obedience. Good leadership is getting it all together and causing others to get it together.

Vision
No one puts much stock in a religion or political system that is irrelevant. Change is not brought about by wishful thinking or just talking about it. Change is not brought about by saying it is something we believe in. Change is the result of good ideas that are rooted in practical truth. Developing a vision for real change for the purpose of winning the social and moral cultural wars in America and then linking it to a well thought-out strategy to reverse the trend of secularization is not living in an alternate reality. Christians must never lose confidence in the power of biblical principles to make a positive and significant change in society. Forfeiting is not an option. We should choose to participate in what God is already doing.

Understanding the Times
Training evangelicals and conservatives who “understand the times” and know what they ought to do is indispensable in winning the culture war and the future of America. We must develop our own reformational and renewal agenda with the stated objective of reshaping society and reconstructing America with the original intent of the Founding Fathers. To clearly understand the times we are living in, we must realize that the battle line that has been drawn is over the phrase “separation of church and state” as a misleading metaphor. The battle lines along the false walls erected by secularists’ have already been drawn. Will we cut and run or fight until we win? There’s hope, but our future does not rest in hope alone! “We the people” can and will win the future, but only if we are free to speak the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help us, God! The truth is: the truth will set us free! Rev. John C. Rankin’s statement addresses the issue at the false wall battle line: “The true understanding of church and state is where a level playing field for all ideas to be equally heard is provided.”

Optimistic Expectation
An optimistic expectation for the future of mankind can be argued convincingly on the basis of a general Judeo-Christian ethos. The prospects of a bright future are rooted in the principles and precepts found in biblical law. A peaceful and prosperous future is ensured by God’s obedient nations.
